Environmental Engineering

Environmental engineers and consultants are earth scientists who assist in the creation, analysis and enforcement of government policies
designed to protect the environment from all types of environmental hazards.

Environmental consultants provide expert assessment and advisory services to clients on matters pertaining to the management of environmental issues. This is an integral action in reducing the detrimental impact of industrial, commercial and other human activities on the environment.

This can be achieved through evaluating current environmental policy, management systems and processes through comprehensive audits and measuring environmental contamination inside and outside the client’s organisation’s premises.

This process is followed by helping clients to design and implement efficient systems and processes to mitigate current and future environmental damages, thus raising organisational awareness on the importance of sustainability, conservation, and other environmental protection-related matters.

The Division provides a spectrum of consultancy services in areas such as sustainable buildings, climate change, water and natural resources management, air quality engineering and management, environmental health and safety
